Thank You Lord!

I hope everyone is good and well!

This is my second day going online after the deluge. What a week that was,its memory will remain with us until our old age.We have just actually moved here in Cainta last June (the village's gate was still Cainta but the house is on Antipolo area already,we pay our tax in Ant City)after acquiring it 3 years ago.Our street had never been flooded and no history about it until that fateful Saturday.

It was like reminiscent of our probee training in Tanay, raining and brown muddy water, only this time its pouring hard and the brown water was flash flood right infront of our street and not some pond.Only this time,we have our kids with us and not our M16 to do the river crossing,as that has become of our street! It was quick thinking of my hubby to cross the street towards our neighbor's 3-storey house, which as even it was raining hard he still managed to asked permission if he can bring the kids in.

The water was below knees inside the house ,but was chest-deep on the street while we were on it,thats the only time I had a sense of danger coz the water was so strong already I feared for my kids. But I'm so proud of my 2 girls for they didnt fear the water and had actually enjoy the river-crossing!

There are a lot of things left that went under flood water cellphones, laptop, valuable papers, the materials I'm working on in our dining table, even the basic appliances we placed on top of our tables were not spared. The water rosed upto waist-level inside the house as we found out the next morning(though water had subsided by that time)the evidence was showned in the the wall marks.

It was terrible!but there are still a lot to thank for like being alive, like having everyone in the family safe(bro and family lives in Town & Country which was 7 feet deep w/ flood ), neighbors ready to extend help, classmates who responded to our needs so quickly(thanks to PNPA tagapagbuklod class of '89),family friend who lends his car,a friend who lends his laptop so I can multiply again!for the million stories of courage and generosity and for my kids and my hubby of course( I told him buti nalang ikaw asawa ko!)Thank you Lord!

Thank you for the chance to get our life back to normalcy.
